Since I'm a writer and a coach, I grow my coaching practice by
writing; it gets my name around, establishes my expertise,
promotes my services and also the field of coaching.
Always do your marketing in areas that you love! It works best.
Writing itself takes time, so I economize my efforts. Here's
what I do:
1. Read a current interest book such as "A General Theory of
Love," by Lewis, Amini and Lannon. Then I do extensive Internet
research around the topic to see what else is out there.

"A coke and a smile!"
I would be willing to bet that just about everyone today
recognizes this slogan.
Branding is the process by which you associate in peoples minds
a name, slogan, or logo with a product. Included in the
association are all of the ideologies for which your business
stands for. For instance, suppose you own a publishing company
called "The Writer Writes", with a particular type of fountain
pen and paper as your logo. You focus all of your efforts only
on resources for writers ...

There are TONS of things you find interesting in your life. You
could write an informational tips booklet about any one of them
to help other people learn what you know, and make some money
from the booklets in the process. Where is the place for you to
start?
First, give thought to whether you want your booklet to have a
two-fold function as a marketing piece for a current business
you own and also an income stream unto itself. That will narrow
your choices somewhat. Choosing a topic that has ...

Here are 6 tips to improve your Web marketing efforts, based on
my Guaranteed Marketing system of cost-effective,
results-producing methods.
1) Why buy from you? Use a unique selling proposition (USP)
Doing business without a USP is like doing business without
pants -- you'll be just as successful.
In his EXCELLENT book "The E-Myth Revisited," Michael Gerber
writes that when they see or hear your business name, people
should say: "Oh, you're the guys who _____________."
Fill in that blank ...

In order to succeed in anything, you must try to identify the
smallest number of actions that produce the biggest benefits in
business, this means capitalising on your greatest asset your
existing customers.
Everyone knows that referrals are the best form of advertising;
a customer referred by a friend is already half-sold. You know
yourself, if you're new to an area and looking for a plumber,
doctor or hairdresser, you ask your neighbours. These people
have done all the groundwork for you; ...

Wouldn't you love to be able to write testimonials for use on
your website that scream huge praises for your product?
Writing your own testimonials? You've got to be kidding! Isn't
that illegal?
I know what you're thinking. You're picturing some guy banging
out praises for his product, then pulling names out of thin air
to tag onto them. But you've got it half wrong.
While I have written some of my own testimonials, the names
below them are actual people that agree with what the
testimonial ...

Without challenges, your business would cease to exist. After
all, you began your business in response to a need and you
continue it for the same reason. However, just as your
customers' needs change over time, so do your business's. Your
competition improves, technology changes, and your employees
come and go. In order to stay in the game for the long haul, you
need to find new ways to satisfy your customers, improve the
efficiency of your processes, and maintain a healthy profit
margin. As ...

1. The biggest obstacle - YOU!
Yes, you read correctly - it's you! Now that you are your own
boss, the only attitude you can control is your own. You have to
project a positive attitude whether you are face to face, on the
telephone or on the computer, people can feel your moods, even
from your writing.
Whether you want to work your home business part-time or
full-time, do not work it just occasionally. If you treat your
new business as a hobby, you will be paid like a hobby and
frankly, I have ...

More Tips For New Writers (Part III)
Writing for your home based business just as important as any
other kind of business writing. When you have an online
business, you will be judged by the quality of your emails,
advertisements, articles etc as well as by the textual content
of your website.
I recently read an article in which the author encouraged people
to write articles in order to promote their home based internet
business. The writer of this article was of the opinion that
punctuation, ...

Setting up a home office that will enhance productivity while
offering comfort isn't as simple as it sounds. Many home workers
juggle and struggle to determine the best setup for their needs.
Think Comfort Studies show that efficiency decreases when we are
uncomfortable. Lesson to be learned: don't sacrifice comfort for
beauty when selecting your furnishings.
Use Mobile Furniture Reduce grunt work. Few of us enjoy an hour
spent shoving and pulling a heavy filing cabinet from one side
of the ...

Once you have decided on your home business, you will need to
take steps to set it up. The following checklist should help you
get your business off the ground.
